Things That Make You Love And Hate About Missing In Action

6:26 PM

Hello, Everybody!

How is everyone doing? Guys I know I have been missing in action for the past whole month. I was travelling and had a wedding to organise and attend. Yes, It was my sister in laws wedding! So you can all imagine how feverishly I was running around to get everything done in time!

Though most of the stuff was already arranged, but those last moment touch ups are the nerve breakers. Alas, the wedding is over with and I am back in KSA, at my home sipping on my cuppa, while I write this post.

So this time I went missing to attend a wedding! They are always fun when it comes to a close family wedding. You get to meet your relatives and friends after a long time and you get to share your stories with everyone.

The time for joy, sentiments and affection among the loved ones!

Weddings can be a real pain as it comes to the dresses, it's the hardest part. I think you can all relate to this because obviously everyone wants to look fabulous in their perfect outfit, which they chose after spending an extensive amount of precious time and budget.

I do not like to rip off my bank account to buy an outfit which I would wear only once! Since this was a close wedding so I chose to wear my own wedding dress on the Day! I got it upgraded a bit though.

For now, I am sharing my jora for the Mehndi day (a musical night plus henna ceremony) which was a small family gathering at home. Hence I went for a NOT so heavy dress.

The shirt was originally ordered online through a facebook page which I no longer remember! This was quite some time ago. It's the time when this kind of fabric and design was new in fashion and was not easily available in the markets of Islamabad. Since then it has been very common around Pakistan and you might have seen this a dozen of times at weddings.

But I had it kept with me since then, as I was out of the country and had no place to wear it! So, at last, I was able to fancy it!  The Khusas (traditional Pakistani shoes) I got these from Khusa Mehal, Peshawar, Pakistan. You can pretty much buy these kinds at leading shoe stores in Pakistan, plus JootiShooti has some pretty collection. The bangles were also lying somewhere around the house and matched my dress perfectly!

Above all, I just loved my Gota and Beaded Mattha Patti which I had ordered online via 👉designer_yumscollection. Do check their Instagram account!

So weddings come and go, and leave wonderful and beautiful memories behind. You get to dance till you drop and gossip all night till you can't digest it anymore.

What I hated the most was that my blog got totally neglected. Being a mom, a wife, a daughter plus a daughter in law, a bhabi(sis in law) and so many other relations that you just can't keep up with everyone in a short time. But now I am back in action, I will try my best to share great stories with you all.

So share some love here too, and keep smiling and stay blessed.
XO.
